here isn't much in the way of mainstream science fiction movies coming to the big screen in the very near future, so let's take a look at some of the stuff on the horizon.
In February comes I Am Number 4, which is about a teenager who discovers he has special powers. It's produced by Steven Spielberg so it might actually be good. There is a trailer for it so you can make some early judgements for yourself.
There is sure to be a bevy of genre movies before this one, but in October comes a Disney flick called Real Steel which is about boxing robots. I kid you not.
Even further in the future is a movie that is yet to be made, Elysium. It's the follow-up film from the director of District 9. It looks like this one will feature Matt Damon. He's actually working on another science fiction movie right now that is yet another Philip K. Dick adaptation. This one is called The Adjustment Bureau and is set to come out in June.
