Daleks, Lorne Top List of Favorite Science Fiction/Fantasy Monsters

(ChattahBox) – Who doesn’t love Doctor Who? Apparently not the fans of SFX magazine, who have voted Daleks as the best “monsters” from any Sci-Fi or fantasy movie, TV show or book.
A full 8,000 people voted on the poll, which included 20 different choices for them to select. This was from a wide variety of sources, including some rather strange ones you may not have thought about on first thinking of monsters.
Of the selections, the number one choice was Daleks, followed by the Lorne from ‘Angel’, and then the aliens from the ‘Alien’ Franchise. But these were only the top three choices.
Probably my own favorite came in at number four, Death from Terry Pratchett’s comedy fantasy book series ‘Discworld’, and five was Smeagol dark side, Gollum, from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ series.
Also feature on the list were ‘The Thing’, The Shadows from ‘Babylon 5′, Gizmo from ‘Gremlins’ and last was Slimer, the green spook from ‘Ghostbusters’.
