etropolis, Fritz Lang’s masterpiece of dystopian cinema, is a dizzying, exhilirating work of art that, for years, has been available only in bits here and there. But now, the film has been fully restored and can be seen in all its amazing artistry!

Metropolis has inspired film makers like Terry Gilliam, Tim Burton and Steven Spielberg.; it has influenced comic books, music videos, and works of art. Yet, until now, most of the people who have been inspried by it have never seen it in its entirety!

It was only in 2008 that a nearly complete copy was found in Buenos Aires. Now, the film is showing up in a few museums and movie theaters around the country. The plan is to release it for home viewing soon!
