ichard Matheson's novel "I Am Legend" spawned several film adaptations over the last several decades, and Hollywood decided to give the treatment to another one, and "Real Steel" was the result. The science fiction movie, which features stunning visuals and an impressive turn from Hugh Jackman, comes to DVD January 24.

Set in 2020, the film takes place in a world where human boxers have been replaced by robots, one of which is owned by Charlie Kenton (Jackman). However, his prized robot is destroyed by a bull at a local fair, leaving him without a fighter and owing $20,000. Eventually Charlie and his son Max stumble across an older, seemingly obsolete robot and decides to make it into a winner.

The robot, dubbed Atom, quickly gains a following for its unorthodox moves, while Charlie and Max bond over the fighter's unexpected rise to stardom. Eventually they challenge the world champion Zeus, setting up an epic winner-take-all battle.

The futuristic movie is in the vein of many other similar films including "Minority Report" and the Will Smith hit "I, Robot."
