CON 35 Author Guest of Honor: Cory Doctorow
Cory Doctorow (craphound.com) is a science fiction author, activist, journalist and blogger -- the co-editor of Boing Boing (boingboing.net) and the author of the bestselling Tor Teens novel LITTLE BROTHER. He is the former European director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and co-founded the UK Open Rights Group. Born in Toronto, Canada, he now lives in London. ICON 35 Artist Guest of Honor: Daniel Dociu
Born in Transylvania, Romania, Daniel Dociu studied art and architecture at Academy of Fine Arts in Cluj, and has worked as a product designer, graphic designer, toy designer, and art instructor. Since 1993 he has worked as an art director in the video games industry. He is currently the Studio Art Director for Arenanet, where he leads art development for the Guild Wars games, and Chief Art Director for NCsoft West. His work can be found at tinfoilgames.com
