Dr. Who is an enormous name in science fiction. The beautiful Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins has won Classical Brit Awards and is now set to appear in the 2010 Doctor Who Christmas Special. It will be the star’s first acting role. Jenkins won’t be alone. You know him as Harry Potter’s Professor Dumbledore. He’s actor Michael Gambon and he will also star in the 60 minute Christmas Special.
Jenkins just recently turned 30 years old. You can read her biography over at her official website. Steven Moffat, major contributor to the new Dr. Who, had this to say about the songstress, “She is brilliant – she is a great singer and a great performer.”
