Rising Star, southern West Virginia's ONLY sci-fi convention. Currently held on the campus of Bluefield State College in Bluefield, WV for the past 4 years, but it has been in existence for 18. We are a small, fan-run, family-friendly event with a very relaxed atmosphere. We are a general SF con that covers all aspects of fandom including TV, movies, gaming, filk, costuming and much, much more.
