'V' to return with more mythology

BC has confirmed that science fiction remake series V will return for a second season early next year.
The series was created in 2009 as a reimagining of Kenneth Johnson's 1983 miniseries, which tells the story of a group of aliens referred to as 'The Visitors' attempting to gain control of Earth.
The Hollywood Insider reports that the show's sophomore season will explore more of the mythology surrounding 'The Visitors', as well as revealing some established characters as disguised aliens.
ABC is moving the series to a different timeslot, behind new superhero drama No Ordinary Family on Tuesdays.
The second season of V will premiere on ABC on January 4, 2011.
